To say I was naive is an understatement. I wholeheartedly did not take in that everything I was doing and using was filled with chemicals !!!! This made me extremely sad that these chemical filled products are legal for retail consumption and usage.
Being mindful of this, I now always look at the backs of packaging. I wondered that If years of consuming and buying products filled with chemicals had anything to do with my HORMONES going haywire and leaving me with an autoimmune disease. I am testing myself right now, as a holistic therapist, I am looking to cure my autoimmune disease completely. Years of exposure to this has to have its effects.
The great thing about this is there are tons of alternatives which can replace almost anything that you use. Stop buying poisonous products now!
Make your own products naturally. 100% chemical free!
Replace your toxic household cleaning products.
Here are 2 examples of natural house hold cleaners that are used frequently.

There are also alternatives to shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tons of these recipes can be found online! If you can change your eating too, check the labels, buy organic. Yes it may be a little more expensive but aren't you and your family worth the extra expense.
If your like me and LOVE candles, do your homework, check the labelling. Beware of candles made with paraffin, these are toxic, sadly most of the scented candles are made from paraffin. The best option is buy a diffuser and defuse essential oils into your home. It's extremely uplifting, its 100% natural. Promoting a healthier life for you and your family. Its a WIN - WIN situation.
Yes it all sounds a bit hippie dippie, and lots of hassle however it really is quite simple, it saves you money, space and potentially less trips to the doctors. There are tons of information online about harsh chemicals that we use daily without realising we are poisoning ourselves.
By all mean make your own decision. Research all you can about it.
